Wellcome! I am a Swedish-Finnish artist, born in Germany, living and working in Berlin since 2012. In 2015 I switched from figurativ to more abstract work, exploring the question about to be connected with each other and to move on, either on a philosophical or physical level.
In abstract formations, I develop compositions that are reminiscent of land or sea maps, movements, rhythms and codes, space, time and light. The result is a dialogue of abundance and emptiness, created by transparency along with layers of overlays. These immerse the viewer in a new cosmos. Having lived in the North, East, West and South of Europe changes are a natural expression in my art.
I am passionated to work on paper and canvas using ink, pens, acrylic and oil.
This are great news I am very excited about. A cooperation starts between the D/A/C Gallery in Miami, USA and me as an artist from November 2019.
In May 2020, Volumen2, Leaders in Contemporary Art, will present my work among other Contemporary Artists in Capsules Book, Melbourne, Australia. Very happy about this too.
